Terms & Conditions of Sale
1. Order Confirmation & Payment Terms
🠖 To confirm your order, a 50% advance payment is required. The remaining balance is to be paid immediately upon completion of installation.
🠖 Accepted payment modes include Cash, Net Banking, UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), or by scanning our official QR code.
🠖 If balance payment is not made within three (3) calendar days post-installation, BALCONY BLINDS™ reserves the right to apply additional administrative charges and withhold after-sales service until full payment is received.
2. Quotation Validity
🠖 All quotations are valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing and terms may change based on material availability and market conditions.
3. Delivery & Installation
🠖 Standard delivery and installation is carried out within 7 (seven) working days from the date of advance payment, subject to site readiness and availability of materials.
🠖 Customers are required to ensure the site is accessible and free from obstructions. If the site is not ready when our team arrives, we will offer one complimentary reschedule. Further delays caused by the customer shall attract a ₹500 handling charge per visit.
🠖 Installation Charges:
• ₹250 per blind
• ₹500 flat for single-blind orders
🠖 Transportation Charges:
Delivery costs are based on Porter service fees from our Koramangala store to the installation address.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
🠖 Cancellations made prior to production will be eligible for a 100% refund of the advance amount.
🠖 If blinds are already ready for installation or if cancellation is requested on the installation day, only 50% of the total order value will be refunded to account for incurred costs.
5. Product Specifications & Measurements
🠖 BALCONY BLINDS™ uses 100% virgin (non-recycled) PVC sheets, 3–4 mm in thickness, for all blinds.
🠖 Standard widths include 4 ft, 5 ft, and 6 ft. An additional 6–8 inches is added to the height to cover the top mechanism.
🠖 Each blind is charged at a minimum of 12 sq. ft, even if the actual size is less.
🠖 If measurements are provided by the customer without a site visit by our team, we are not liable for incorrect fitment or alignment.
6. After-Sales Service & Repair Coverage (1-Year)
🠖 We offer 1 year of complimentary service covering the following components:
• Pulley-locks
• Nylon thread (operating cord)
• S.S. supporting cables
• Border tapes
• Chain mechanism set
• Bottom PVC channel
🠖 Service does not cover damages resulting from:
• Mishandling, rough usage, or improper operation
• Pets, children, or foreign objects
• Harsh cleaning agents or chemical exposure
• Structural damage from walls or windows
🠖 If any customer misbehaves with our staff, harasses field technicians, or attempts to harm the company’s reputation through false claims or defamation, BALCONY BLINDS™ reserves the right to withdraw complimentary service and block further support for that customer.
7. Product Storage Policy
🠖 If installation is delayed at the customer’s request after blinds are ready, we can store the finished blinds for a maximum of 14 (fourteen) days. Thereafter, storage or handling charges may apply.
8. Design & Intellectual Property
🠖 All layouts, product suggestions, and fitting concepts shared by BALCONY BLINDS™ are our intellectual property. Replication or use by third parties without written consent is strictly prohibited.
9. Color & Finish Disclaimer
🠖 Actual product colors may slightly differ from printed catalogues or digital photos due to:
• Lighting variations
• Screen or print display differences
• Minor shade shifts during the PVC sheet manufacturing process
🠖 Exposure to direct sunlight may cause slight fading or color shading over time. This is normal and typically occurs after 6 months to 1 year, depending on sun exposure specific to the customer’s balcony or window.
10. Customer Responsibilities
🠖 Customers must verify allowed drilling hours with their society or apartment management and inform our team in advance.
🠖 A step-ladder must be provided at the site. If unavailable, please notify us in advance. Our team can arrange one, and rental charges will apply.
🠖 It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is present at the site during installation. Missed visits due to customer unavailability may result in rescheduling charges.
11. Service Jurisdiction
🠖 All delivery, installation, and after-sales services are currently offered only within Bengaluru city limits. For areas outside our service zone, customers may be required to bring products to our Koramangala store or pay travel expenses.
12. Optional Add-Ons
🠖 Supporting Nylon-threads – ₹100 per blind
🠖 S.S. supporting cables – ₹100 per meter
This document is binding upon order confirmation and is governed by the laws applicable within the jurisdiction of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. BALCONY BLINDS™ reserves the right to amend these terms at its discretion, with or without prior notice.
