Welcome to Bangalore Balcony Blinds!🌿Our journey began in 2008 in Bangalore. We started by offering indoor blinds such as Vertical blinds, Roller blinds, and Zebra blinds, and Curtains. Our journey began with reselling products, but our passion for home decor led us to start making our curtains from scratch.

By 2015, we ventured into outdoor blinds, initially reselling PVC blinds. But, soon we started assembling them ourselves. This approach allowed us to offer better prices and improve our PVC blinds quality. We faced many challenges, including dealing with strong winds that caused our PVC blinds to swing and break the PVC bottom channel.

To handle this, we gave a spring option to secure the blinds to the bottom beam wall. However, this method led to complaints as the increased pressure in the center of the blinds caused them to crack or break. So, we innovated by using S. S. cables for support for the blinds. This method worked, but it was costly for some customers, so we switched to nylon threads, which were more budget-friendly while still providing strong support against winds.🛡️

In 2018, our customers began asking for natural Bamboo blinds and transparent Monsoon blinds. We started making Monsoon blinds with a basic 0.50 mm thickness. These blinds were popular with commercial clients like restaurants, rooftop cafes, etc. By 2019, we upgraded to 0.80 mm thickness for an even better version. Our Monsoon blinds combined high-end quality with competitive pricing, and our successful big projects boosted our confidence in serving both consumers and commercial clients.😄 

Our journey with Bamboo blinds began in 2019 when we started sourcing natural bamboo sheets from Tamil Nadu. However, we found the quality lacking. Determined to provide the best, we sought bamboo sheets from Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Our Bamboo blinds, made from 100% natural bamboo and handwoven, transformed outdoor spaces, keeping them cool in summer and protected during monsoons. Despite the challenges, we are proud to say that our bamboo blinds have received positive feedback for their natural beauty and durability.🪴

When it came to rainwater protection, we identified that our PVC blinds needed improvement. We introduced PVC blinds with Transparent-sheet lining option, which effectively stopped rainwater while allowing natural sunlight to enter. Initially, we offered these blinds at a higher price, but as demand grew, we reduced the cost to make it available to more customers. We ensured the transparent sheet had a minimum thickness of 0.50 mm to withstand harsh weather conditions.⛈️

However, our business was hit hard in 2020 when the pandemic struck. The lockdown led to a long shutdown and financial struggles. To make matters worse, our website was hit by a malware attack, leaving us offline for 2 months. But we didn’t let this stop us. We launched Balcony Blinds Bangalore, a dedicated team and site focusing solely on outdoor blinds, and it was a game-changer.💪

Despite the challenges of the 2nd COVID wave, we used the time to upgrade our blinds and services. We introduced new options like Roman Teflon blinds and Transparent Roller blinds and brought in experienced professionals to enhance our work. We continued to stand out in a crowded blinds market.👨‍💼

We noticed that many competitors were offering low-quality blinds made from recycled PVC, which were cheap but didn’t last even a year. These outdoor blinds often tore apart within a year, leaving customers disappointed. We understood the importance of investing in high-quality balcony blinds and provided with 1 year after-installation service to ensure durability and customer satisfaction.🛠️

In 2023, we took important steps to solidify our reputation. We registered our Balcony Blinds™ trademark and acquired ISO certification for our PVC blinds and Monsoon blinds assembly unit, assuring you of top-notch quality.
